Join us today on Women Lead Radio, as Erika De La Cruz, your host of Women to Watch, The Entertainment Editio, interviews Cady McClain, Director, writer, producer and actor. Cady is the Director and Executive Producer of the documentary series “Seeing is Believing: Women Direct.”

Seeing is Believing: Women Direct is a documentary series, by Cady McClain, about women directors who are on the front lines of the field: from major award winners and those in the vanguard of television and feature films, to graduated students and frustrated auteurs. Cady McClain is a two-time Emmy winning actress, writer, director, and producer. She studied directing with legendary artistic director of The Ensemble Studio Theatre, Curt Dempster. Seeing is Believing: Women Direct, a serialized doc on women and leadership, explores the journey of women artists working in the field of directing. 

Seeing is Believing: Women Direct will make its World Premiere and is an Official Selection of the 2017 Newport Beach Film Festival. The first episode in the series will screen as part of the program ‘Short Femme Factor' on April 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Island Cinema 6 in Newport Beach.

Erika De La Cruz is your host of Women to Watch, The Entertainment Edition– Introducing You To Boss Babes Working Behind The Scenes. A show that takes a deep dive into the perspective, day-to-day and career paths of some of the best and brightest thought leaders working in the entertainment industry today.  Erika is a Media & TV Personality, specializing in on-camera and runway hosting. Erika’s goal is to empower young women to write the letter of their lives with purpose and intention through her Dear World campaign!
