Join us today on Women Lead Radio, as Michelle Bergquist your host of Women Who Lead, interviews Dorothy “Dot” Callahan, CEO of The Woman In The Room.

Dot shares her perspective on how to be the “woman in the room”, and not be controlled by the male hierarchy. She has some simple yet effective pieces of advice to discuss so that you can be the empowered woman in the room!

Dot believes women bring a systems approach to complex business situations. We will ask her if the feminine traits of putting systems in place for a smoothly run home, community, and coordination of family help women be successful in business and especially in a male-dominated business.

Dot’s background includes participating in the male-dominated Air Force ROTC in college. She credits learning about leadership from men in leadership. She has a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management. Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity led her into a career in the home building industry.

As the CEO and Co-Founder of Connected Women of Influence, Michelle Bergquist is a passionate advocate for women in business. At Connected Women of Influence, we believe that more women need to lead in business and everything we do is center-focused on designing platforms, programs, connections and collaborative opportunities for b2b women to prosper, succeed and lead the way in business today!
