Did The Earth Move For You?

In this weeks show, of course we are looking at Earthquakes. In light of the recent devastation in Napa Valley, experts say there is more to come. How much more? People need to know. Secondly, in light of the last 3 shows, we will be discussing the security of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant, which a Government official requested be temporarily closed in advance of an earthquake for the safety of everyone. Did anyone listen? Has the Power Plant been affected in any way and if so, how will that play into the effect of the earthquakes yet to come?

Also, residents were given a 10 SECOND warning! A 10 second warning is ridiculous. What can you do, when your asleep, in 10 seconds that is the difference between living and dying?

We are looking at what procedures the Government intend to put in place, to extend this 'early' warning system.

Take a moment to look at what has happened to those historical buildings.

Who do you have most sympathy for? Those who have lost their business because their buildings were not adaquately prepared for natural disasters, or those businesses that are not 'allowed' to trade because of this destruction?

And what of the wine trade? Napa valley is notorious for its successful wine trade.
