Your Money, My Vote: Lunch with Louden 11/6/13

Money has became more important than the vote. Campaign contributions, contributions through non profits, lobbying, and media are all elements in a strategy for financial control. The payoff: for every dollar spent on lobbying, the companies got $220 in tax benefits.

Our ability to work through our differences is complicatedby the strategic use of polarizing rhetoric designed to rationalize the self serving legislation that is borne of the union of business and government.

If we could talk, we would solve our problems, and the financiala control being perpetuated by applying cash to our wounds would end. Today we would like to talk about some of the things that need talking about.
