Our guest tonight HAS looked closely. Alison Dagnes, a professor at Shippensburg University in PA, has written an amazing analysis of just this issue. Her book, A Conservative Walks Into a Bar: The Politics of Political Humor, discusses exactly what tickles our funny bone, and why. Part entertainment and part in-depth analysis, Dagnes' book is both fascinating and informative.
