On this week's "CleftCast" #podcast, host Joe Rutland talks about overcoming the fear of speaking up for yourself. It's quite difficult for children and adults with cleft lip/cleft palate/craniofacial anomalies to "crack open" and speak up. Many people are afraid of how they will sound, or have been told by others not to speak up. On the other hand, others have been encouraged and strengthened to share and speak up in safe environments. I will talk about this in more detail. Also, I'm going to be offering a glimpse into a major announcement coming out soon that will be a great offer to the craniofacial community. I also will have this week's Term of the Week, too. All that and a whole lot more are in store for "CleftCast," the world's No. 1 #podcast for the cleft and craniofacial community.
