PLANTATION TO THE PEW-The Remnants & Evolution of Slavery

We're starting BLACK HISTORY MONTH a bit early with a launch of our series entitled: PLANTATION TO THE PEW: THE REMNANTS & EVOLUTION OF SLAVERY. Jesus Christ set us free from the bondage of sin and death.  His yoke is easy, and his burden is light.  But how often do we see Christians burdened and yoked by their church or by oppressive and constraining false doctrines? Have black folks generationally exchanged one "massah" for another? Slavery was an economic system of laws and power that benefitted few and oppressed many.  What parallels can we draw between the system of slavery and the "system" of unhealthy churches?
