I love the scriptures!!!

Father Lehi speaks to Jacob, his first born in the wilderness. He knows of his dedication to the gospel and gives additional insight about how all things must have opposition or there would be no purpose. Lehi's words are clear and easy to understand even for us today.

Oliver Cowdery receives council on missionary work. "called to prune my vineyard with a mighty pruning, yea, even for the last time"... That was nearly 200 years ago. Makes me think the Lord is mighty merciful and patient and yet all these things are done in the Lord's timing. I believe that we each need to be anxiously engaged and that if we do not, at the very least plead to him night and day in our hearts, we shall miss a great opportunity and witness and even a great reward.

Begats are important to the Lord. He does not say or do anything that is insignificant, this much I know.
