#49A Scriptures for the Latter Days Gen 31:43 Matt 17:9

I love the scriptures!!! Genesis 31:43-55 Laban and Jacob meet to make peace between the two of them and establish a pact and closure as the two separate. I believe this story well describes the interactions that need to take place between family members when abuse or neglect has occurred. It is not always possible to do in person but if one will go through the process in ones heart and mind I believe that the peace of the Lord will fill you up and make all bearable. Matthew 17:9-19 Jesus tells them how John the Baptist had come in the spirit of Elias to fulfill the promise that he would come and prepare the way of the restoring of all things. We talked about John's death and how by looking, not to the will and mind of God, but to the pleasing of persons, relations, and protocol led to his death. I suggest that we likewise devour the prophets today and those who would speak of God-like things in the same manner. The to the lunatic who could not be cured because of the lack of faith. This is something each of us must ask ourselves. Are we living faithful to the mind and will of God or are we caught up in the world and its distractions and therefore of little value in the building of the Kingdom of God and the healing of his people.Strong words, I know, but I believe they need to be said. IF God lives then God LIVES and we must behave and live in and by that knowledge.
