Mindfulness—what is it and can it really improve our levels of stress? We will explore mindfulness vs. multitasking and the effects of each on ordinary and extreme stress. Join me and my guest, Christy Matta, as we discuss the topic through both science and experience, with a close look at how mindfulness can be used in everyday life.
Based outside Boston Massachusetts, Christy Matta is a freelance writer, trainer and group leader on the topic of Mindfulness and Stress Reduction. She is intensively trained in dialectical behavior therapy and has designed and provided clinical supervision to award winning DBT residential programs. Matta has a Master of Arts in counseling psychology from Boston College. Visit her Stressless & Mindfulness blog at
