Child Safety must be our top priority

Questionable parenting: Why would you as a parent abandon your child in a grocery store?  We have it on video where the mom left the toddler in the store after she checked out.  She told people in the store to leave the child there.  Why would a grandpop leave his 5 year old grandaughter alone in the desert, go to a bar, have a beer and eat a burger. Oh by the way he left a gun with the little girl and told her to shoot the bad guys.
