Depression means a lot of things to a lot of people and we are going to talk about the whole shebang. Is it just an emotion? Is it an occasional season of sadness that all people experience? Is it all in your head? Is it situational, circumstantial, a chemical imbalance or sometimes a combination or all of the above? Is it being over diagnosed and over medicated? Is it terribly misunderstood? What are the symptoms and red flags we could learn to recognize (through raising awareness) that might help us save a loved one from suicide?
