What is a Proud Black American?

What is a proud Black American? At what time in U.S... History can you really say you are proud to be a Black American? With America's past history of human atrocities and human rights violations what can you truly say you are proud of? 

There was the violent means of how North America was invaded, the inhabitants massacred and displaced, the enslavement of blacks, science experiments on blacks, sterilization of woman, bombings of innocent children, Lynching, Jim Crow and the New Jim Crow, lack of businesses, limited education, incarceration, racial profiling, Cointelpro, drugs, self-hatred, skin bleaching, hair weaves, on and on. Please tell me what a black person has to be proud of in America?
