In the wake of a disaster, especially terrorism, up to 90% of those exposed may suffer psychological distress or psychological crisis.  Almost 50% exposed may suffer significant clinical impairment such as Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  With percentages this high it is very important that we understand the needs of first responders.  With disasters at an all time high this year, and the number of response agencies overwhelmed, what should we be looking at?
