"Let's Talk Fort Worth" will speak with the candidates running in the District 3 city council race. The focus of conversation will be the Como community and whether or not they are being over-policed. Many residents complain of being over-taxed and over-policed. The annual Como parade for example each year has a military-style police presence that many feel is not needed.  However, the residents of Como cannot get the leadership downtown or the police department to explain why this is necessary. There is also an overwhelming outcry from residents of Como to stop the over use of police cameras. The city of Fort Worth is planning to put 68  police cameras in Como. The Como community is roughly 130 blocks. That is equivalent to a camera being put up every 2 blocks. We want to here how the candidates running for city council in District 3 will address the over-policing issues in Como. My panelist will include Adrian Smith, Michael Caceres, Andy Gallagher, Daniel Fattori, Michael Crain, FWPD Assistant Chief Rob Alldredge and Atty Leon Reed.
