I ask, why does ballet choreography continue to be dominated by men?
Woman are still the symbols of ballet. Chances are it is as ballerinas performing dazzling, demanding steps were devised for them by men. Ballet remains overwhelming a man's world.
Many professional ballet dancers have never performed in a ballet choreographed by a woman. Ballerinas are trained to be obedient and not to step out of line. Ballet appears to be a man's world.
