 Matthew Granahan, AKA, the King of Connecticut, is by far one of the most fascinating people to have ever come on the show. His talents and connections into the worlds of mixed martial art and pro wrestling are unbelievable; but host Bob Carson has been following Granahan since 2016 and his resume speaks for itself. Friday May 29th, 2020, the King of Connecticut joins Carson's Corner for an all inclusive interview you won't want to miss. Below is just a glimpse of Granahan's resume. 

 Wrestling competitively since age 12 he held the consecutive pinning record in the Connecticut FCIAC conference for 3 straight years and in 1993 he won the prestigious Nutmeg Open Freestyle championship. Matt has worn every hat in mma as competitor, coach, cornerman, referee and Broadcaster. Heralded and sought after for his intricate knowledge of the sport and energy on the mic, Granahan has hosted events alongside UFC Hall of Famers Dan Severn, Stephan Bonnar and Frankie Edgar as well as Bellator headliner King Mo. In February of 2017 he was inducted into the FL MMA Hall of Fame at RFC 39 in Tampa for his contributions as a veteran competitor and Broadcaster in the Sunshine State. 
In 2009 Matt wrote the definitive history book on mma up to that point with World Shooto Champion Erik Paulson. The book Rough and Tumble has become a cult classic and favorite among hard-core fans with copies still selling today. Matt also manages UFC Hall of Famers Dan Severn and Stephan Bonnar and UFC and WEC veteran Kamal Shalorus. In 2012 Granahan was hired on as Prime Marketing consultant for Spike TV and Bellator MMA . Matt's show King's Court features several of his mma legend friends and they recount stories with lots of comedy thrown in. The show is one of the Top rated podcasts on Arena Sports Network and FightTV
