Author Harvey Smith, Sr self-publish a book titled "The Second American Revolution" in May 2014. A book on African American history which includes a self-help section on personal financial management. (2014) and a second book "A Dream Fulfilled Against All Odds: A Memoir." (2015) Harvey has also lectured at Penn State University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Currently he is an online instructor and writing evaluator at Grand Canyon University located in Phoenix, AZ. The Founder and Board President of Innovative Educational Services, Monroeville, PA (Non-Profit Organization). Is an after-school tutoring program for youth, and he wrote numerous grant proposals that were funded. In 2014 he published an article titled “Where are the African American Cultural Participants?”
