Amy Bakes Cupcakes!

I have the pleasure to interview a true woman entrepreneur, Amy O'Kaneof "Amy Bakes Cupcakes!" here on the Central Coast of California. Amy says: "I’ve been fascinated with baking and combining flavors since I first climbed onto that stool. Today, I bake and deliver a delectable array of cupcakes for any occasion. I make each batch by hand and to order. I use quality ingredients including organic chocolate and as many locally sourced ingredients as I can. Many of my recipes are seasonal and based on the availability of the incredible fruit grown in San Luis Obispo County. I do things like make my own vanilla extract, and buy most of my spices from the experts at a small specialty shop. I get amazing cocoas from a local fair trade chocolate company and a natural foods co-op. I’m definitely a “quality over quantity” kind of gal! I’ve always loved cupcakes because each one is like a tiny present just for you. Whether I am using traditional, gluten free, or vegan ingredients, each of my carefully crafted recipes is tempting and delicious. I want every single one to be just right!"
