Sunday on the Front Stoop, can happiness be measured?

Is it possible to have economics that concerns itself with human happiness?  Or is happiness too subjective to become an objective measure?  What aspects of being human could be measured?  Are we able to apply the tools of science to the interraction between humans and economic systems?  Can the goal of economics be readjusted from greatest profit to greatest overall human happiness?   Please call in and help us think through these things.
