His 40 plus years as a musician has resulted in music that can be described as alternative folk rock, a harmonious blend of myriad genres, a sound that is uniquely Joseph Strider. Joseph’s heritage is as much a part of his music as it is a part of his being. He is a staunch supporter of the non-profit organization Rez Aid, based in Pennsylvania, volunteering his time and talent to assist in efforts to bring food, life essentials, and monetary donations to the shamefully mistreated Indigenous Peoples of Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
