Tonight's host of the Brain Injury Round Table is Constance Miller who authored a brain injury owner's manual entitled From The Ashes. Her book was featured on Super Bowl XXXIV. Miller, a brain injury survivor of more than 30 years is also founder and Managing Director of Brain Injury Resource Center, located on the Internet at http://www.headinjury.com.  It offers a wealth of useful information on brain injury and its recovery process. It is our desire to help others in their quest to find the tools and knowledge to live a better more  abundant life brain injury.

Our very special guests tonight are two survivors of childhood brain trauma. Both "Tai" and Denice suffered, severe brain injuries and have joined us tonight to bring fresh insights to our understanding of the mysteries of brain injury.

Because children are growing rapidly they make what is thought to be a fast recovery. However, while tissue and bones might heal quickly the altered brain may take a different track. The greatest difficulties become apparent when they reach adolescence and their hormones kick in and the worse, out-of- control behaviors begin.
