Apparently the walking dead didn't reach your home. That's because you were warned.

Tune into this encore presentation of "The Horror of Walker Point." It was a spooky Halloween night and our host, Mark H. Newhouse, was reading a delightfully chilling story by horror writer Billy Wells, when suddenly he was interrupted by urgent news, a real horror story that was taking place at a Walker Point radio station in Maine.

Intended as a tribute to Stephen King and similar to the Orson Welles’ 1939 Halloween radio program, The War of The Worlds, The Horror of Walker Point by Anthony Marino, was a production of www.AudioComicsCompany.com.

It was originally broadcast on All Hallows Eve by Maine Public Radio’s Rocky Coast Radio Theater. Author's Beat is grateful for the written permission of Producers William Dufris and Lance Roger Axt, as well as their associates at the Audio Comics Company for allowing us to share this event with our ghoulish worldwide listeners.

Relax and enjoy this spookily fun return to the radio days of the past with your little kiddies. We did. (Evil laugh)
