It's a spooky Halloween night and our host, Mark H. Newhouse, is reading a delightfully chilling story by horror writer Billy Wells, when suddenly he's interrupted by urgent news, a real horror story that's taking place at  a Walker Point radio station  in Maine.

Intended as a tribute to Stephen King and similar to the Orson Welles’ 1939 Halloween radio program, The War of The Worlds, The Horror of Walker Point by Anthony Marino, was a production of www.AudioComicsCompany.com.

It was originally broadcast on All Hallows Eve by Maine Public Radio’s Rocky Coast Radio Theater. Author's Beat is grateful for the written permission of  Producers William Dufris and Lance Roger Axt, as well as their associates at the Audio Comics Company for allowing us to share this event with our ghoulish worldwide listeners.

Enjoy this spookily fun return to radio days of the past with your little kiddies. We did. (Evil laugh)
