Census 2010 and Comprehensive immigration Reform: The Role and Its Impact on African Immigrants in the United States.” The campaign, dubbed “Africans matter, Count Us in Campaign”, is a major component of our National African Diaspora Mobilization Project (NADMP), which began in 2006 and seeks to mobilize African immigrants into a collective to advocate issues that affect their lives, influence U.S, foreign policy toward Africa, and ensure that African immigrants actively participate in the political system and process.
