Charlotte Tomic is a media and public relations consultant with more than 25 years of experience in marketing and communications. Prior to starting her own firm – Tomic Communications -  in Miami six years ago, she served as Media Relations Manager, Worldwide Practice, at GolinHarris in New York for eight years working with major brands, including L’Oreal, the University of Phoenix Online, Direct Energy, Unilever, Special Olympics, and many others. With her new agency, Charlotte works with authors, professionals, established and start-up companies, universities and think tanks, in addition to many nonprofits. Previously she served as AVP Communications & Public Affairs at St. John’s University in New York, serving as the head of the news and information office in addition to representing the University on various non-profit boards. She is also past-President of New York Women in Communications, Inc., the premiere association for professional communicators. Charlotte has an MBA in Marketing and taught public relations at St. John’s University. She was named a Rising Star by the New York Women’s Agenda. She is a member of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and NYWICI.
