Tonight Bonnie Kaye and her co-hostess Debra Sutton welcome back special guest Professor Dr. Karin Huffer, who is an adjunct professor for the prestigious John Jay College where she authored and teaches certified ADA advocacy.  Legal Abuse Syndrome (LAS), a traumatic stress condition that occurs when an invisible disability is not recognized and accommodated under the ADAAA.  Accommodations offset impairments during legal processes.

Dr. Huffer will discuss her upcoming on-line course and what an excellent chance this is for people to become court advocates for people with disabilities. Those disabilities include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder--or PTSD--where women going to court after a marriage to a gay/bi/trans man can avail the services of a specialist certified in ADA advocacy.

Debra Sutton took this course two years ago, and she will discuss her experience and how it has helped her in advocating for our straight wives.

To learn more about the program, go to Dr. Huffer's website at https://equalaccessadvocates.com/.
