BONNIE KAYE'S STRAIGHT WIVES TALK SHOW WELCOMES DR. KARIN HUFFER

Tonight Bonnie Kaye welcomes back special guest Associate Professor Dr. Karin Huffer, who teaches counseling and forensic psychology at Kings International University.  Dr. Huffer designed the first graduate and undergraduate syllabi certifying disability ADA advocates.  As a Nevada licensed marriage and family therapist, Dr. Huffer researches, writes, speaks, and consults on Legal Abuse Syndrome (LAS), a traumatic stress condition that occurs when an invisible disability is not recognized and accommodated under the ADAAA.  Accommodations offset impairments during legal processes.  Dr. Huffer's latest book, Unlocking Justice: ADAAA Standard of Care (2011), provides the rubric for the use of the ADA in court by the invisibly disabled and sets the standard of care needed to prevent the repetition of LAS.  Her first book, Overcoming the Devastation of Legal Abuse Syndrome (1995), is still in print and provides her initial diagnosis and findings.  Dr. Huffer's schedule includes her online advocate and forensic specialist courses, presentations at conferences the next is scheduled for John Jay Law School International Conference in Athens, Greece. numerous radio interviews, and appearance as a forensic specialist and expert witness in court.
