I just listened to Show #18 which was done from Palm Springs, at the Conference and I must say it was spectacular! Thanks to Jimmy and Carroll for all the work that went into putting this show together. And a BIG thank you to all of the guests who participated, especially Congressman Barney Frank.

Regarding Show #9: The answer to some of Sterling's questions about LBGT Law Enforcement communicating about issues and concerns are found right on BluePride.org! That's why I created it.

Tonight's show was simply spectacular. Greg Miraglia and Andre Goh were great guests and provided terrific information about "Coming Out From Behind The Badge" and Serving With Pride as well as their personal stories. And as always, Jimmy and Carroll steered the ship in the most professional manner! Great job once again!

I heard about your show a few hours after it aired on February 8th so I missed calling in. I was always very proud of the time I spent on the executive board of GOAL NYC. Jim your voice is perfect for radio. And Carroll your're still as fun loving as ever. Your show reminded me of the rocky times we shared together in Puerto Rico during our conference in 1995 and in the NYPD. I am very happy that you honored Colleen on your show. She has been so supportive of GOAL members and especially supportive of me when I ignitiated the NYPD lawsuit. I'm also very proud to call Colleen my friend after all these years. I look forward to your upcoming radio shows. Please ask GOAL to mention your show in GOAL's Newsletter.

I would really like to hear an interview with Greg Miraglia. Thank you two for offering a program like this for our community. Maybe we can get a show on Sirius Out Q also!

Those of us who have been out, open activists since the dawn of our struggle understand the courage it takes to stand up for the rights of LGBT criminal justice professionals. We understand the strength it takes to put on a uniform and speak up for all of us under the glare of a spotlight. Blue Pride Radio is proud to announce that one of our true activist/fighters will be on our next show. I personally salute Officer Mike Carney for his strength during our times of frustration and despair. I salute him for courage in the face of great adversity. I salute him for being a man’s man, always ready to stand up and fight for us. Officer Carney has made two trips to Washington D.C., in uniform, to testify before the senate advocating for fair and equal treatment for LGBT law enforcement professionals. He has some great insights to share and we are honored to have him as a guest.

Blue Pride Radio is going to the heartland of America for our next show. Officer Thom Bell, of the Tulsa Oklahoma Police Department, will be our guest for the full hour!!! We will be discussing what it's like to be openly gay on the job in such a Republican state. He will be giving us some insights into how the LGBT community has responded to some of the inflammatory statements made against our community by local politicians. We will also learn what the LGBT social scene is like in Oklahoma in general.

OK EVERYBODY, GET READY TO LAUGH!!!!!!! In the past, we have had some very serious shows on Bluepride Radio but we plan to change things up a bit on the next show. We have a very special show in the works for Sunday, October 18th. We're asking our single friends in law enforcement to talk about what it's like dating while on the job. We want to hear your stories about who you date, who wants to date you, and what it's like while looking for love while wearing a badge. We will talk about where to look and where not to look. We will be sharing advice on looking for Mr. / Ms. Right and give some insights on finding a companion, making a home, and building a life together.
