One out of five don’t even know they have it.  While only 13% of the U.S. population, 45% of Americans newly affected with it are black.  9 out of 10 new infections are found in black women, and it’s the #1 leading cause of death for black women ages 25-44. 

What are we talking about?  HIV.  Here we are, nearly 30 years since the discovery of this deadly virus, and although much advancement has been made in the treating this epidemic.

We’ll be joined by Deloris Dockery of the Hyacinth Foundation as well as Iris House’s Ingrid Floyd.
