~~Podcast #259 is part one of a two part program with regards to the topic of the legalization of marijuana. The premise however goes beyond merely that topic. As Noel and I analyze the last hour of a three hour Glenn Beck radio program, I recalled these words from America’s second President John Adams: “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other." In 1963 America was unbridled from Biblical morality and pure religion - via political correctness - and was saddled with a new progressive religion that has many denominational titles as well as numerous political nametags. AVARICE: “Excessive or insatiable desire for wealth or gain”. Was John Adams being politically correct or governmentally accurate? Perhaps this program might give someone another direction and purpose to consider.
