Podcast #217 is the second part of “The WORDOLOGIST and Why Celebrate July 4 with Noel Benoist” (#216). Through the use of songs, questions, and our commentary, we present a modern day perspective, using one paragraph of an old document, as to why we should consider the original reasons for celebrating Independence Day – July 4. In this conversation we discuss – superficially - the last sentence of the first paragraph of “The Declaration of Independence” and digress into other related areas, for example the “American Indian” culture. Again, I apologize for the audio level mismatch and background noise of this program; unfortunately, I’m not a computer “whiz kid”, therefore I use the “trial and error” method to figure out how such modern day “technology”, much of which seems to change daily, works in my everyday “real world”. This program lays out some pieces, but it is up to the individual to put those pieces together and connect the dots in order to minimize the method of “trial and error”. Be aware that two “governmental” documents gave you the option, the choice to listen to “The WORDOLOGIST” podcasts, and other programs as well. Don’t let “politics” or “religion” remove YOUR choice and options.
