Podcast #212 features the Nov.4, 2009 interview with Bill Connor, originally broadcast on “The American Voice Radio Network”. Today we live in a society whose culture is reprobate, a society that has believed the “Christian” stereo type initiated in earnest during the 1950’s, a society that has redefined the original intent and true meaning of words and premises in this country’s founding documents, and a society where individuals will lie and use deceptive tactics to achieve a goal. Here’s a fairly recent example: “In summary, the State Grand Jury charges Mr. Ard with a scheme, developed as part of his candidacy for Lt.  Governor (of SC.), to create the false appearance of a groundswell of political support through fictitious or bogus campaign contributions”, so claimed the March 9, 2012 statement of the SC Attorney General.  (NOTE: the elected position Bill Connor lost to Ken Ard in 2010.) This same tactic and other tactics as well, are being used once again during the 2014 elections in South Carolina and other states as well; that is the “game” of politics. I am sick and tired of that “game”. (NOTE:  “Ard pleaded to four counts of unlawful reimbursement of campaign contributions, two counts of falsely filing campaign reports, and one count encompassing multiple acts of personal use of campaign funds.”) I am fed up with politicians and religious leaders - as well as the “writing and talking” conglomerate media outlets (and personalities), who choose to be “rubber stamps” of past generational concepts; what about you folks?
