This podcast #129, the “follow-up” to podcast #125”, and is another journey back in time - “RoadLife” style - as well as a glimpse regarding present times. This is PART ONE of two parts. This program (part one) features the “live” testimony (on 2-6-83) - from the “RoadLife” cassette tape archives - of a former trucker Clay Rowland, and is specifically dedicated to truck drivers. Clay’s experiential testimony was the start of the “RoadLife” tape “ministry” - a few years later. More about that in part two, which will feature the church service after Mr. Rowland spoke; that church service was the start of “The Bible Mechanic” - many years later. “This is what the LORD says: Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind, who makes human flesh his strength and turns his heart from the LORD”. [Jeremiah 17:5 - The Holman Christian Standard Bible] As “science” and technology increase, many professing “Christians” are “trusting” in the ideology and the theology of a “God” that is a person, making human flesh their strength, trusting in mankind, and other combinations thereof, thereby deceiving themselves and others as well. “Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord!' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, drive out demons in your name, and do many miracles in your name?' Then I will announce to them, 'I never knew you! Depart from me, you lawbreakers!” [Matthew 7:22-23 - The Holman Christian Standard Bible]
