A culture is “a way of life for a people”. For every culture in the world there are driving forces that sustains it. One major driving force of any culture is Economics. As related to Urban American plight and common ethnocentric expressions, economic triggers are often invisible forces behind the most counter-productive behaviors. In an ideal situation people control the economics of their community and not the other way around; where external economic forces control the hopes and aspirations of people.

Join TALK-STRAIGHT host, Rev., Dr. Rueben Dockery as he discusses the impact that “Economics” has on the identity and expressions of Urban American culture today.

This is an open Microphone Discussion
