Better Citizens = Better Media and Politicians

Void of media and political truths are a big problem today for citizens.  The masses actually think they are getting the truth when they watch and listen to selected media and politicians. Politicians and media should be held accountable for all the gossip, garbage TV and radio, that is presented in the name of NEWS. Citizens deserve more. The average citizen does not know they are being lied to. Those politically involved citizens know it, but we have no loud resounding voice. When was the last time you objected to a known lie you heard from media or politicians?  For some of you never.  The results of all the lies are destructive for America.  The impact of political and media lies are digging holes Americans will fall into for generations to come. The political lies will create holes in all walks of life.  The thing about lies is if told often enough lies become truths and no one will ever recall the origin.  The void of truth hurts all of us, yet most people continue to expect lies and accept lies. Most people never speak out against the lies.  Therefore  politicians and media continue to lie about issues on "news" shows.  News should report facts. These days, news is nothing more than "yesterday's regurgitated garbage".  I wonder if people are aware they deserve better.  We will keep getting these lies from media and politicians, until we learn we can use our voices to assure that we are building rather than destroying our country.  The idea politician and media would give the people facts as facts, and would voice opinions as opinions. And paid programming should no longer be allowed under the guise of news. We the people need to learn we can demonstrate we deserve better.  When we demand better media and politicians we will get better.
