ONDZREJ ZOUHAR grew up in the Czech Republic formally Czechoslovakia. He was a very energetic child and his parents signed him up for lots of activities; singing classes, theater, silver flute lessons for 7 years, etc. His parents were over protective and sometimes made him not want to try any professional sports or athletics. His dad always wanted him to travel and see the world and so did he. When he was a young man in a communist country, crossing borders West for him was just a dream. ONDREJ made that dream come true for his father. He came to Ashville, NC in December of 2000 with $500 and a bag pack, speaking broken English – just basics, what he remembered from college.
His first job was as a dishwasher and night shift restroom attendant, which is a fancy name for someone who cleans toilets. Fast forward to today…right here, right now…ONDREJ is an author, body/mind/spirit coach and facilitator and…because he had a fear of heights, he is also a flight attendant!
