In the words of Bernie Siegel, he says,

If I were involved in the case of the young woman the court has ordered to have chemotherapy it wouldn't be so big a problem.

The mind is very powerful and what it visualizes the body believes but there is also an intuitive unconscious wisdom which may not agree with what she thinks and feels. Dreams and drawings can reveal this inner wisdom and knowledge. I would ask her to draw a picture, with crayons, of herself receiving chemotherapy.

Some people who do not want chemotherapy draw it as golden energy flowing to their cancer. It is right for them but their fears and the doctor's frightening words about side effects are the problem. Others who choose it wonder why they are not doing well. Their drawing of chemo is the devil giving them poison. No wonder they have a problem and this holds for drawings of surgery, radiation and eating vegetables as your treatment.

I know of many cases where due to medical errors patients did not receive the radiation, surgery or chemotherapy they thought they were receiving but the doctors didn't realize it until routine inspections were made because all the patients were reacting as if they were being treated with tumors shrinking and side effects. Doctors words are hypnotic and words can become swordswords which kill or cure.

You change your image by visualizing what you desire and I created CDs for people entitled Getting Ready so they could prepare themselves and their bodies by seeing everything going beautifully after treatment. Their dreams, drawings and response to treatment all improve and they can eliminate side effects.

Peace,

Bernie Siegel, MD
