Join me, Gregory Cadotte (Anishinabe Nation) and Preston Twoyoungmen (Nakoda Nation) as we discuss the contents of the Canadian Federal Government Budget 2010 as it pertains to Indigenous People across Canada, The budget will be unveiled March 4, 2010 in the House of Commons by Finance Minister Flaherty. Where we, as Indigenous People used by the Canadian Government to prop up world views of Canada at the beginning of the Winter Olympic Games 2010 in Vancouver? An Olympic (1) night stand? Or is the Canadian Government serious about starting a "new relationship" based on our growing populations and our educational and training needs? Show #13 is definitely the show to listen to as hundred's of thousands of Indigenous people prepare for the budget unveiling in hopes of hearing that Canada will honor it's treaty requirements and securing greatly needed Education, Training and Post-Secondary funding resources in the "new relationship".
