Ann Liddick graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado and spent the majority of her nursing career in public health, counseling, and management. She currently teaches holistic health courses, including The Role of Art in Healing, and she provides art therapy and grief counseling for women and families.

Ann's art therapy is called The Art of Compassion.  Using her art as the foundation for grief therapy was inspired by her own loss over 20 years ago.  She is currently writing her second book, "The Birth of a Soul", which follows her first book, "The Art of Awakening". Ann is a spiritual teacher, writer, and artist, but first and foremost she considers herself to be a spiritual healer.

The story of how Ann came to her awakening and the subsequent discovery that led to The Art of Compassion, is the stuff of far-fetched fiction; but it is a true account of an ordinary human being's transformation into a soul being human.

Ann has been channeling spiritual essays since she began her journey to enlightenment almost four years ago. Her blog covers many topics of spirituality and healing, what she calls The Spiritual Arts. She began a spiritual sabbatical in the midsummer of 2016 that provided the final spiritual push she needed to embark on the next leg of this incredible journey, which is resurrecting The Art of Compassion, and writing the book it inspired.
