We all have heard about the disgruntle employee getting mad with his or her employer and the next thing you see on action news at 11 is that the employee came back and shot up the joint. Sad but true. What makes a person reach that point? Do they show warning signs that co-workers disregard? And how can it be prevented? In most cases there was some sort of conflict in the workplace that didn’t get resolved which lead to that employee catching a case of the “crazies”. This show will focus on those types of issues in the workplace. We often dread going to work because of conflicts and problems we have with co-workers, supervisors or associates within the workplace. So what do we do? Avoid those people, talk about those people like a dog, or like some of us have done, slap those people or do something worse instead of trying to resolve the problem before we reach the proverbial breaking point? Also, sexual harassment is taken seriously within corporate America and companies take severe measures in dealing with accusations of sexual harassment including filing criminal charges. So what should be done when a person falsely accuses someone of sexual harassment? What things can we do to educate employees about sexual harassment and is it confined to just the work place? Lastly, we will discuss relationships in the work place between supervisors and employees. I know, I know; there can be a lot of baggage associated with an office romance but is it worth it? We’ll also discuss issues with having a member of the opposite sex as a supervisor, the intimidation factor between employees and supervisors and the problems they may cause. It’s a full show so email your questions or comments to ask@kimpsonenterprises.com or call me at (347) 826-9214 during the show and give your two cents. I know some of ya’ll got about 75 cents but its all good. My only request is that like the name of the show says; you keep it real.
