New revelation received for Mark
We have by experience determined a good measure of sincerity as required for baptism, is the act of paying tithing. Baptism is commanded to be done without stubborness nor deception before God.
Alma 32:16
16 ...blessed is he that believeth in the word of God, and is baptized without stubbornness of heart, yea, without being brought to know the word, or even compelled to know, before they will believe.
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate; for I say unto you Many shall seek to enter in, and shall not be able; for the Lord shall not always strive with man.
(JST Luke 13:24)
5 For I remember the word of God which saith by their works ye shall know them; for if their works be good, then they are good also.
(Moro 7:5-7)
6 For behold, God hath said a man being evil cannot do that which is good; for if he offereth a gift, or prayeth unto God, except he shall do it with real intent it profiteth him nothing. 7 For behold, it is not counted unto him for righteousness.
