2 Nephi 28, according to Pres. Ezra Taft Benson, refers to an apostate clique within the Church, the chief of which now appears to be a liberal cultural Mormon who believes in mixing with the black race of Cain, and Darwinism, albeit theistic, who continues to assert his own private interpretation based upon these misapprehensions. And as the impure always view all things as impure, he imputes this blasphemy upon Brigham Young and then pits the prophets against each other, assigning to them a "private interpretation" as they are impure like himself. But Peter writes:  20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.             (2 Pet  1:20-21) So assigning the inpired teachings and statements of true prophets to mere opinion or an "idea" is nothing less than denial and blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, saith the Lord.
