Daniel 7 as it relates to Adam being the God described there, and as testified to by Brigham Young in official Church publications. Adam is the Father of our spirits. Joseph Smith taught Adam "presides over the spirits of all men." This would not be possible were He not the "father of spirits" described in Hebrews 1, who "hath brought his firstbegotten into the world." How was his firstbegotten brought into the world? By being begotten by the same character that begat his spirit. 6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. (Heb 1:6) 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? (Heb 12:9) "Daniel in his seventh chapter speaks of the Ancient of Days; he means the oldest man, our Father Adam, Michael; he will call his children together and hold a council with them to prepare them for the coming of the Son of Man. He (Adam) is the father of the human family, and presides over the spirits of all men, and all that have had the keys must stand before him in this grand council. This may take place before some of us leave this stage of action. The Son of Man stands before him, and there is given him glory and dominion." (HC 3:386-87.)
