Hurricane Isaac headed directly for New Orleans as a Catergory 1 storm on the seventh anniversary. The water topped the levee in the town of Braithwaite in Plaquemines Parish. Once again people were stranded on top of the roof and in their attics. There are reports of homes with flooding of 6- 7 feet of water in the their homes.
