I am looking forward to interviewing Lindsay Bonney as a guest speaker on my next show. Lindsay is now a 13-year-old adolescent and continues to live with her parents and siblings in a Bi-cultural home. She loves Children Are Like Cupcakes and felt it was useful tool to cope with fitting in as a teenager. Lindsay understands her native tongue of Fante, but does not speak it. Aside with being American, she still embraces her family's culture though in youth she struggled with it. She did visit her parent's homeland Ghana and thoroughly enjoyed her visit.   She will join us to discuss being bi-cultural and how it felt for her living in two mixed cultures.  At home she was a Ghanaian and at school American just like my daughter, inspiring my writing this book.  We will ask Lindsay how she coped with challenges and cross cultures when it came to her family and friends.   I am looking forward to speaking with Lindsay.
