We will be interviewing, author and domestic abuse advocate, Aleshia Alston. Aleshia is the founder of the organization, "Ignite Change". Ignite Change is focused on empowering, educating, and motivating the community through outreach initiatives such as workshops, seminars, symposiums, and various awareness and empowerment events, as well as skill training. The organization believes that if it affects one person it affects us all, but change begins with one person. Our purpose is to give people the tools to change their lives and their community. Ignite Change focuses on prevention. Their programs are geared to young people attempting to prevent teen pregnancy, the spread of STDs, youth violence, substance abuse, and low self-esteem. To learn about Ignite Change, please visit the website at: www.ignitechange.org Aleshia will also share with us information about her newly released book, "After the Love is Gone". Please be sure to tune in!
