Guest: Sonja Simpkins

Angelica welcomes Sonja Simpkins to the show today. Sonja was born on September 18, 1963 in Milwaukee, WI. She was in the Army in 1981 to 1985. She rejoined the Army National Guard on September 27, 2007 to present. During her break from the military she worked as a case worker for the department of social services. This is when she started to reach out and help people, not to mention her own situation that she was dealing with at home, which was domestic violence. On February 2009, she incorporated her non-profit organization: Preventing Domestic Violence Resource Center: Using your Mind, Body and Soul, Inc. To quote Sonja: "If I can at least help one woman, I have accomplish a lot in my lifetime."
