Kathleen Schmidt is a published author with her debut book, “Escaping The Glass Cage: A Story of Survival & Empowerment from Domestic Violence". From this, Project Empowerment was born, a blog talk radio show available worldwide. Her passion is to share empowering stories, people and events that are making a positive difference in our world. She has also launched Climb for Empowerment with the mission to empower survivors of Domestic Violence & Abuse........one step at a time. She will be climbing Mt. Rainier in September 2011 to raise awareness, education and funds for Girl Child Network Worldwide and The Pixel Project; both are global initiatives to help end violence against women.
