What's exactly is going on?

Yesterday, I finally got a chance to meet both sister Khadijah Dawah, the tirelss Director of the only Muslim Women's homeless shelter in New Jersey, and at least, the North-Atlantic region, and brother Abdul-Hakim Abdullah, the Chariman of Muslim Men in Action, who is selflessly devoting his Ramadan to assisting our sister and sisters.Also present, was Brother Ahmad Abdul-Qadddir, a longtime friend of mine, who was actually responsible for my learning of sister Khadijah, in the first place.

May Allah reward them all, out of His Bounty.

In the meantime, what's going on?

Yet another GOP candidate has entered into the POTUS race (16 in total, so far?), which I would guess, be to the glee of the Democrats, who have three, including the nefarious Hillary Rodham Clinton, who thus far, seems to be able to dodge the ire which is so due, given her role in the Benghazi fiasco.

I guess, another motivation for me, speaking to the SIgn of the Times, is how the African-American and Muslim communities seem to be processing the events.

To my utter dismay, both still are determined to "run interference" for Barack Obama, despite every indication that he is against the grain of our common and long-held positions on family, culture and morality. 

Who would have thought, that the "first black president" would play a major role in ushering a standard, whereby the options in selecting gender, would be "male", "female" or "other"?

Confusion? You bet!
